A retail outlet is enjoying a boost, reporting a noticeable rise in both sales and visitor numbers as shoppers return and footfall increases.
Braintree Village saw a 14.9 per cent increase in sales from April to June compared to the same period last year, according to data from owner Landsec.
It is believed that the boost is partly from Crocs and Belstaff. (Image: Sonny Flanagan/Umpf PR) The boost has been partly attributed to the opening of new stores including Crocs and Belstaff.
Josef O’Sullivan, centre director at Braintree Village, said: "We’re thrilled to see such a strong uplift in both footfall and sales at Braintree Village.
"These results speak volumes about the continued appetite for experience-led, in-person shopping, and reinforce the vital role physical retail plays in today’s landscape."
The centre also saw an 11.6 per cent rise in footfall.
Sports and athleisure brands performed particularly well, with sales up 22.3 per cent year-on-year.
