A STALKER who told his victim he knew she lived alone will be sentenced next month.
Chris Allen, of Eight Ash Green, Colchester, admitted one charge of stalking involving serious alarm and distress after he regularly showed up at Halstead Leisure Centre and tried to find his victim’s whereabouts.
Allen appeared before Chelmsford Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday, but the hearing was adjourned so a full examination into his mental health could be carried out.
Judge Mills said: “This needs to be adjourned so we can get all the results of the enquiries being made.”
Allen, who turned 70 last week, will be sentenced on June 25.
