AN INDEPDENT administration between two parties is set to continue after Castle Point Council's election count has been called.

The People’s Independent Party and the Canvey Island Independent Party have both won the majority of seats that were up for grabs in this year’s election.

The conservative party has officially lost the remaining seats it held at the election.
