ALEX Sobel MP will be taking part in the Leeds Half Marathon on May 12.
Alex said: "Having run my first Leeds Half Marathon last year for St George's Crypt I’ve decided to do it again to raise money for another local charity in the Leeds North West constituency.
"This year I will be raising money for the Older Wiser Local Seniors (OWLS) who help seniors living in Burley, Hyde Park, Little Woodhouse, Headingley and Kirkstall to stay healthy and independent.
"I am really happy to be part of Team OWLS on Sunday 12th May. The work they do to reduce loneliness and isolation for local seniors is truly commendable."
The Leeds Half Marathon starts 10am on May 12 at Headingley Stadium and travels through Alex’s constituency, going to Bramhope and then back to the stadium.
