A MAN has denied a number of non-molestation order breaches at a property in Wem.

Paul Latham, 28 of no fixed abode, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court, sitting at Telford Justice Centre, on Tuesday, March 26, charged with five counts.

He pleaded not guilty to five separate breaches of an order which was handed down in May last year.

OTHER NEWS:

The breaches are alleged to have occurred on dates in October and November last year.

Latham denied attending a property in Wem in October despite an order in place blocking him from doing so.

He also denied sending a letter to the same property in November 2023, and leaving a number of voicemails during October and November, all in breach of the order.

He denied two further counts of attending Market Street in October and December last year, and is alleged to have posted a leaflet through the door at the property.

Robert Edwards, defending, said that an intermediary would be required for Latham’s trial, which is scheduled to last two days from Monday, April 29.
