THE Empire is already into its March programme as more great films are on their way.

This coming Friday, March 8, the cinema will be showing the 12-rated Grand Turismo.

It tells the true story of a team of unlikely underdogs - a working-class gamer, a former race-car driver, and an idealistic motorsport executive - who risk it all to take on the most elite sport in the world, professional car racing.

The "electrifying and thrilling movie" stars Geri Halliwell and Archie Madekwe.

Doors open at 7.15pm for 7.45pm. All seats are £7.50.

The Wednesday matinee showing on March 13 will be The Lesson, rated 15.

Liam, an aspiring young writer, eagerly accepts a tutoring position at the family estate of his idol, renowned author JM Sinclair.

Doors open at 2pm for 2.30pm. All seats are £7.50.

There is no children's film on Saturday, March 16, however, the Autism-Friendly Cinema will be open from 2.30pm for 3pm with Elemental, rated PG.

Future films include A Haunting in Venice, My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Wonka.
