ONE person has been arrested following a serious collision near Twinstead this morning.
The crash on the A131 near Twinstead happened just before 10.41am.
Essex Police is at the scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area as the road is expected to be closed “for the foreseeable future”.
The road is closed and traffic is queuing in both directions between The Great Henny turn off and The Twinstead turn off.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The road is closed while we investigate and we’re advise avoiding the area for the foreseeable future.
“We will provide an update when we are able to. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
“If you saw anything or have dashcam of the incident, please contact us on 101 quoting incident 342 of todays date."
