SEVERAL Essex roads will be closed for more than a month for roadworks.

Long Green, Cressing, will be closed from about 345m south east of the Galleys Corner roundabout for about 245m for 84 days from January 15 while roundabout construction works are undertaken by MDS.

Park Road, Wivenhoe, will be closed from Belle Vue Road to Bobbits Way for 35 days from January 18 while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

Powers Hall End, Witham, will be closed between Terling Road and Flora Road for 31 days from January 3 while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

Mill Lane, Cressing, will be closed from Braintree Road to Claud Ince Avenue for 23 days from January 8 while duct laying works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.

Straight Road, Colchester, will be closed for five days from January 11 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Bures Road, West Bergholt, will be closed between Hall Road and Nayland Road for nine days from January 8 while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Barley Way, Stanway, will be closed for about 30m heading south east from Wheatfield Road for three days from January 10 while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Boxted Church Road, Great Horkesley, will be closed from about 50m north east of Holly Road for about 30m for three days from January 3 while new supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Earls Colne Road, Great Tey, will be closed from about 70m south east of Lamberts Lane for about 30m for three days from January 10 while stop tap repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Errington Road, Colchester, will be closed for about 50m heading north west from Butt Road for three days from January 9 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Gosbecks Road, Colchester, will be closed between 7.30pm and 5am from Paxman Avenue to the Gosbecks Road roundabout for two nights from January 3 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Parsonage Lane, Tendring, will be closed from about 90m east of The Green for about 50m for four days from January 2 while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Spring Lane South, Colchester, will be closed from about 20m north west of Lexden Road for about 25m for two days from January 15 while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Spring Valley Lane, Ardleigh, will be closed for about 175m heading south east from Colchester Road for five days from January 15 while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Station Road, Tiptree, will be closed between Maldon Road and Church Road for two nights from January 17. The closure, which will be in place between 7.30pm and 5am, is while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Browning Road, Braintree, will be closed for about 50m heading north from Chaucer Crescent for seven days from January 9 while ironwork installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Maldon Road, Latchingdon, will be closed from about 140m south east of Thatchers Croft for about 60m for seven days from January 2 while connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

Friars Lane, Braintree, will be closed for about 65m heading west from Bradford Street for five days from January 8 while duct laying works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

Oak Road/Henry Dixon Road, Rivenhall, will be closed between Rickstones Road and London Road for three days from January 15 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Panfield Lane, Braintree, will be closed between the Tabors College roundabout and Churchill Road for five days from January 8 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

School Road/Back Lane, Wickham Bishops, will be closed from about 70m south of Grange Road for about 30m for 12 days from January 15 while new service and reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
