Family and friends of a young woman who died following a road crash are planning several memorials in her honour.
Laura Barker was 27 when she died near her beloved workplace, Danaher RSPCA centre, in April.
The animal care manager and former Tabor College pupil had devoted herself to the animals at the Wethersfield centre where she also lived.
Her parents, Nigel and Jackie Barker, who described their daughter as a "ray of sun" asked mourners to donate money to Danaher, instead of sending flowers.
Bob Ferdinando, Danaher's general manager, said about £3,000 has been raised through donations directly to the home, through the funeral service and through Miss Barker's sister Elaine, raising money at work.
He said: "The support has been overwhelming from the public, from people who knew Laura and from people who just know the home."
