MOTORISTS have been advised to be aware of traffic issues across several streets caused by faulty traffic lights.
There are traffic issues around the Railway Street, Victoria Street and Cressing Road area in Braintree.
Essex Police has received several reports of faulty temporary traffic lights in these areas this morning which is causing a build-up in traffic.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are in the process of contacting the company to request they are fixed.
“Please be aware that police do not have any involvement over repair or maintenance of traffic lights and unless there is a genuine emergency and risk of serious harm, this should not be reported via 999.”
