A TRIO of road closures is coming to the Halstead area.

On November 8, Stambourne Road in Toppesfield is closing from a point south east of its junction with Great Yeldham Road in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to be on November 8 for one day and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Stambourne Road, Ridgewell Road, Church Road, High Street, Toppesfield Road, Great Yeldham Road and vice versa, with access-only to The Causeway and The Street.

On November 21, Blackmore End in Wethersfield is closing for three days.

The road is set to shut from a point south east of its junction with Widleybrook Lane in a south easterly direction.

The closure is required while fire hydrant repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Church Street, Church Lane, Deanery Hill, Panfield Road, Braintree Road, Water Lane, The Street, Wethersfield Road, High Street, Hudsons Hill, Hedingham Road and vice versa.

Lastly, Letches Lane in Greenstead Green is closing from its junction with Oak Road to its junction with Plaistow Green.

The closure is scheduled to commence on November 24 for three days while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

An alternative route is available via Plaistow Green Road, Bournebridge Hill, Braintree Road, Mount Hill, Trinity Street, Bridge Street, High Street, Head Street, Colchester Road, Mallows Field, Parsonage Street, Tidings Hill, Letches Lane and vice versa.
