TWO road closures are coming to the Halstead area next month.
Firstly, on October 3, Starlings Hill in Sible Hedingham will be closing northwest from its junction with Braintree Road.
The closure will be for three three days while fencing and guardrail works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Queen Street, Potter Street, Lamb Lane, Innham Hill, Horn Hill, Southey Green and vice versa.
One week later, on October 10, Lawshall’s Hill in Colne Engaine will be closing south from its junction with Countess Cross Road.
The closure is scheduled to last for three days while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Colneford Hill, Lower Holt Street, Upper Holt Street, Church Hill, High Street, Halstead Road, Station Road, Elms Hall Road, Church Street, The Green, Green Farm Road, Overhall Hill and vice versa.
