A MAN has appeared in court after being charged with committing a burglary in Halstead.
Brent Blackburn, 32, was arrested by police officers after a car was stopped on the A14 on September 8.
Essex Police said the arrest was in relation to a report of a burglary in Colne Valley Close, Halstead, on September 7.
Blackburn, of Esholt Lane, in Shipley, West Yorkshire, appeared in Colchester Magistrates’ Court on September 12 charged with burglary.
He denied the charge and was released on conditional bail to attend Chelmsford Crown Court on October 10.
