When?

The vigil will be tonight from 7pm.

Where?

It will be held in Priory Park, Southend, SS7 6NJ

Who can come?

Anyone who supported, loved, or wants to pay tribute to Archie is welcome to come.

What are the plans?

The family have invited supporters to let of eco-friendly balloons and hang written tributes from trees to remember the 12-year-old. No lanterns.

Ideally using the colour purple to represent Archie’s Army.

His mum, Hollie Dance, explained more:

She said: “Anyone that supported and loved Archie is invited and welcome to come to the vigil,” mum Hollie told the Echo.

“People can create purple hearts using card and hang them on trees using ribbons with their personalised messages and tributes to Archie.

“They can let off balloons, but they must be eco-friendly because of the wildlife. Archie was all about saving wildlife; he wouldn’t want to see harm to any animals.

“There will also be a prayer and a sing song for him too.

“We hope to see Archie’s army there out in force to remember my beautiful boy.”
