DRIVERS can expect delays with a Halstead road set to shut this month.
Chapel Hill, which connects Halstead to White Ash Green, is set to close.
The road will shut from September 12 with the closure lasting three days.
It will close from near its junction with Beridge Road in a south easterly direction.
The closure is required while work to improve water connections is carried out by Anglian Water.
Essex Highways said: "The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
"An alternative route is available via Beridge Road, Butler Road, Trinity Street and vice versa.
"Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure."
