DETECTIVES are investigating following a robbery at a village Post Office yesterday.

Police were called at approximately 4:45pm on, Wednesday, August 3.

Two males are reported to have entered the post office on Well Lane in Clare wearing balaclavas and threatened staff with an unknown object before demanding money from the till.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police added: "A quantity of cash was then stolen from the till and the suspects reportedly left in a vehicle, believed to be black or grey in colour and possibly a BMW.

"A staff member sustained minor injuries during the incident.

"Witnesses or anyone who was driving in the area with dashcam footage who may have seen suspicious activity, or information that could help the inquiry is asked to contact CID at Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/49603/22."
