POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A134.
Officers were called by the ambulance service at 1.16pm on Friday (June 17, to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car at the junction with Dyers Lane near Assington
Paramedics and the air ambulance also attended.
A man was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital having suffered potentially serious injuries.
Another person also suffered potentially serious injuries.
Road closures were initially put in place; however, the road has now reopened.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: "Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team, quoting reference CAD 203 of 17 June 2022."
