A MAN has been taken to hospital after an incident occurred this evening.
Officers with Essex Police attended the scene after reports of a road traffic collision on Stanley Road in Halstead, earlier this evening.
A spokesman said at the time: "
"We are currently on scene at a road traffic collision on Stanley Road in Halstead.
"Please avoid the area to allow emergency services the space to carry out the required actions as quickly as possible."

An ambulance and HeliMed team attended the incident and the pedestrian involved has since been subsequently taken to hopsital to be checked over.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening or changing at this time.
The road has been re-opened as of 5.44pm.
