A WINTER wonderland has arrived in Gosfield as a shop gets into the festive spirit.

Lords Farm Shop has transformed itself into a Christmas paradise, just in time for the holiday season.

Visitors to Gosfield Shopping Village are greeted by Christmas lights and decorations such as a huge Santa, tinsel and baubles.

Owner Susan Lord says while they usually decorate the shop, this is the most Christmassy they have ever been.

She said: “I think it is better than ever this year, but it is like this normally.

“We have put more decorations up, and every year we try to make things better and put more effort in.”

The decorations took a whole day to put up, with help from Barbara and Ted Seaman.

Sue said he response so far has been great.

She said: “People that come in love the shop – it just makes people happy and joyous.”

On top of the grotto, shoppers can buy a variety of Christmas items, including trees, wreaths, and hampers.

There is also some Christmas pudding wine, sloe gin and other beers and tasty tipples.

Lords Farm Shop is open seven days a week from 9.30am to 4pm.
