THE charity arm of a business has launched its appeal to spread Christmas cheer to children in a mid Essex hospital.

This year Partyman World of Play in Braintree has helped many families who live with difficulties, disabilities and loss.

Last week more than 200 children and their families supported by Partyman's 'magic makers' enjoyed The Father Christmas Experience at Marsh Farm in South Woodham Ferrers.

A spokesman for Partyman's Magic Makers said: "Creating laughter, smiles and magical memories for some of the UK’s most deserving children and their families is the driving force of Partyman’s Magic Makers charity."

Now as part of its Christmas charity work Partyman is collecting toys and gifts to bring joy to the children’s wards at Broomfield Hospital.

Its magic makers are asking residents to buy a spare children’s gift for a child in the hospital who may have a difficult Christmas this year.

Partyman World Braintree is located off Charter Way and is open from 10am to 6.30pm.

Partyman’s Magic Makers is the charity of the Partyman company who operate Partyman World of Play.
