Police are continuing their appeal for information following a 'hit and run' incident where a young girl was struck.
Officers with the Essex Police continue to search for any information on the incident that occured on Parsonage Street in Halstead on Halloween.
It involved a small white van and a girl shortly before 6.50pm.
Essex Police responded to reports that a girl had been hit shortly after 7pm.
It has since been revelaed that the van failed to stop at the scene.
The girl did not sustain any serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Essex Police has said: "We need anyone who saw anything, has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.

"Please quote incident 1273 of 31 October.
