The Covid death toll in the Braintree district has risen
TWO more Covid-19 deaths were recorded in the Braintree district in the last 24 hours.
The number of coronavirus cases in the district increased by 74 in the last 24 hours, official figures show.
The rate of infection in Braintree now stands at 11,416 cases per 100,000 people, lower than the England average of 12,508.
The fatalities took the Covid death toll in the district to 406, with three deaths in the past week.
