A THEATRE is set to bring the Royal Opera House to Halstead with live streamed events.
There is a season of six performances at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden which are now all available to book online and watch at the Empire Theatre in Halstead.
Theatre trust chairman Mike George said: “The Empire Theatre is proud to bring this series to Halstead as we endeavour to provide entertainment to appeal to everyone.”
There are three events from the Royal Ballet, and three from the Royal Opera.
The season begins with The Nutcracker on Thursday, December 9.
Audiences can watch the full company of the Royal Ballet in the much-loved classic live at the theatre from 7.15pm.
Tickets are £18.50 for adults and £17.50 for under-18s.
There is a bar and refreshments available at all events.
The full programme includes Tosca, Romeo and Juliet on Valentine’s Day, Rigoletto, La Traviata and Swan Lake.
These live streamed events are broadcast for a worldwide cinema audience to experience and enjoy the ballet and opera.
The theatre can also provide a Christmas card gift voucher for any booking to make the perfect festive present.
