Halstead Gazette:

Bling is coming to ITV

Over 20 hour-long episodes Lydia and Gok delve into the dazzling world of jewellery and beyond; from buying and selling to fixing and making beautiful bespoke eye-catching pieces.

The series is full of heart-warming stories as excited couples seek that perfect wedding ring, sell a hidden gem, fix a much-loved family treasure or even create a one-off bespoke item.

Lydia comes from a family of jewellers and is also a personal jewellery consultant.

She says she has gold "flowing through her veins".

Lydia said: "I have experienced all walks of life through my career, from my parents' jewellery market stall to where I am now – a successful and highly knowledgeable online retail jewellery consultant.

"On the market stall I would shout out to the customers 'Come and get your 9ct gold’ from the age of four and that is where my jewellery journey began.

"I have been a part of the jewellery industry my entire life and my earliest memories are of being in Hatton Garden just fascinated and entranced by diamonds, gold, jewels, beautiful jewellery and all things bling."

"Filming this TV series was an absolute privilege and I enjoyed every minute of the experience."

The show launches on Monday, October 11, and will air daily from 2pm-3pm until November 5.
