A POPULAR theatre is closing its doors for good due to the impact of the pandemic.
The Bridge Academy Trust announced today that Braintree Arts Theatre has closed.
In a statement on Facebook the theatre said it is with "sadness and regret" to make the announcement.
The team said: "With sadness and regret, due to the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic the Bridge Academy Trust have announced the closure of Braintree Arts Theatre from 9th August 2021.
"We would like to thank everyone who attended one or many of our shows in the past and supported the theatre.
"For those of you who have purchased tickets to future shows, these will be refunded.
"Please avoid phoning the theatre. You can email us at enquiries@braintreeartstheatre.com if you have any questions regarding your purchase.
"Thank you for your understanding.We'll miss you. Phil, Rebecca and the team."
