POLICE have arrsted two teenagers as part of an investigation in to an arson incident.

Emergency services were called at 4.40am in the early hours of Saturday, May 8 to reports of a fire in a charity clothing bank container outside the Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Station Road, Sudbury.

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

Now police have arrested two 17-year-old teenagers in relation to the fire.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "Today, Wednesday, May 12, police have arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of criminal damage – arson not endangering life.

"Both have been taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning by officers."
