Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which saw items and cash amounting to a "three figure sum" stolen.

Reports say the incident happened at some point between Saturday, April 24 and Thursday, April 29 at the offices of Prestige Sports Development Ltd at The New Croft on Chalkstone Way, Haverhill.

Burglars made off with numerous valuable items along with both cash and cheques.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "An Arsenal football shirt signed by the current squad was stolen as was a white X Box with two white controllers and one black controller.

"A black ‘bum-bag’ containing an envelope with a quantity of cash and cheques amounting to a three figure sum was also taken.

"Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity or knows of the current whereabouts of any of the items stolen should contact Suffolk police , quoting crime reference: 37/22873/21."
