With the ongoing pandemic, I believe people need to seriously take a look at themselves if they would like to get things back to normal.

Those that deny there is such a thing as Covid-19, misinformed anti-vaccine adherents and general ignorants who selfishly believe they should or do not need to adhere to mask wearing and all the other rules of this lockdown because there is some sinister plot going on by global governments.

For all of my sins, I for one miss the visit to the pub, restaurants, football matches, playing snooker, concerts and so on. The fear I have is that these activities will be very slow, if ever, to return to normal even after those of us willing participants take the jab.

Take going to watch Braintree Town as an example. I will be very reluctant to mingle with those that have refused the vaccine, which has limited protection, as they are possibly carriers and spreaders. According to the science this particularly deadly form of coronavirus, like all others, is here to stay and unless there is some form of restriction to entrance at the turnstiles I will be staying away.

That means an impact on the clubs finances and likewise for all the other venues involving human activities that I enjoy.

So, these people, some of whom I have heard vocally complaining about not being able to get on with their lives, will actually be prolonging the agony for us all.
