POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three men were arrest on public order offences.

Officers were informed about an incident which took place in Haverhill on Thursday 8 October between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

A man, 20, reported that a group of around six people turned up to an address on Chester Court, where he was staying, on two occasions during the day.

It is reported the group were making threats causing him to believe he would be hurt.

Fortunately, the victim was unhurt in the incident.

Officers say they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at the time.

The incident may have been recorded on private CCTV cameras or dashcam footage.

Police are also particularly interested in anyone who may have seen or heard the group of males huddled around a silver vehicle parked at the end of Harrow Road in Haverhill.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "Three males, aged 17, 19 and 24 have been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of public order offences and released on bail pending further enquiries.

"Anyone with knowledge of the incident should contact police quoting crime reference 37/58696/20."
