A TRIAL into alleged drug dealing after police found more than £1,000 of crack cocaine and heroin outside Bicester Village has entered its closing stages.

Prosecutors claim that when police arrived to carry out a search near the retail outlet Karl Williams 'threw' a mobile phone, which was later found to contain drug dealing messages.

The 34-year-old of Woodbrooke Grove, Birmingham, denies two counts alleging possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

It is claimed that he had dozens of wraps of crack cocaine and heroin which were destined for sale to others at about 4pm on June 7 last year.

His trial at Oxford Crown Court got under way on Monday.

Yesterday, jurors heard closing speeches from both the prosecution and the defence.

The case is expected to resume today when jurors will go out to begin their deliberations.
