POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was racially abused last week.
Officers with Suffolk Police were informed of an incident which took place at around 7pm on Monday 7 September just off the High Street in Haverhill.
In a loading area behind a row of businesses, a youth who had been climbing on the walls was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim, a man in his 30s.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "The suspect used racially abusive language."
"Witnesses or anybody who has any information are asked to contact police quoting reference 52173/20"
