A 60-year-old man has denied exposing his genitals with the intention of someone seeing them.
Paul Michael Millar appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court yesterday (Tuesday).
He denied the charge and elected to be tried by magistrates at a later date.
The Crown Prosecution Service alleges that the incident took place on Monday in Carlisle.
Millar, of Lowther Street in Carlisle city centre, was bailed ahead of his next court appearance. One of the requirements is that he does not enter a road in Carlisle.
The road cannot be named for legal reasons.
He must also report to Durranhill Police Station between 10am and 12pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
His next court appearance will be on November 5 at the city's magistrates' court.
