A DRINK driver who was caught over the limit while he was banned from the roads has been jailed.
Vladimir Bekes was serving a driving ban when he was stopped by police in his Audi A3 on the Runcorn stretch of the M56 on Sunday, June 28.
And when breathalysed, the 36-year-old was found to be over the limit.
Bekes admitted drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Warrington Magistrates Court the following day.
The Slovakian national, of Ellesmere Port, was jailed for 14 weeks and banned from driving for another five years.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128, while his driving licence will be endorsed.
