A TRAVEL company says it will be reopening its branches in town centres across the east of England.

Premier Travel, who have branches in Halstead and Braintree, will be welcoming customers through the door again for the first time since the lockdown began.

Staff were contacted a month ago to gauge opinion on a return to the workplace and bosses have now given the go ahead for all branches to reopen.

Director Paul Waters said: “Each branch has its own challenges due to their varying sizes and layouts and our main priority at this stage is the safety of our staff and customers.

"We are initially offering an appointment only service, which is working well, and we are working towards fully opening our doors to customers whilst continuing to follow the latest safety and social distancing guidance from the government.

“Since returning we have seen an increase in new and existing customers enquiring about their future holiday plans and in particular for Winter 20/21 and Summer 2021.

"Since Covid-19, customers are looking for security when booking, and reassurance that their holiday is in safe hands with a company they can trust.

"We only sell 100% financial protected holidays to give our customers peace of mind in the knowledge that they will be supported throughout.

"Our travel specialists are passionate about travel and look forward to welcoming clients old and new back into branches soon.”
