A man and woman are being questioned in connection with the incident
POLICE arrested two people just 10 minutes after receiving reports about a break-in at a house in Braintree.
Officers were called to Valley Road around 4am today (Wednesday, April 1) after a woman heard a noise in her home and found her door open.
They then stopped a man, 21, and woman, 28, in nearby Coggeshall Road 10 minutes later and arrested them on suspicion of burglary and going equipped.
The duo, who are both from Braintree, remain in custody for questioning.
