Police have launched an appeal for two missing brothers last seen at around 11.30am on Tuesday morning. 

Kai McLeish, nine, and Danny McLeish, 12, were last seen at Erneley Close in Levenshulme.

Their current whereabouts are now unknown, but police believe they may have headed towards Gorton and Tameside.

Kai is 4ft tall and wears glasses. He was seen wearing a green bubble jacket, black Nike trainers and shorts.

Danny is 5ft tall and is weaing grey joggers, a long green parka with a fur hood.

Police believe one of them may be riding a bike.

In a statement Greater Manchester Police Newton Heath said: "Concerns are growing for their safety and family are desperate for information, if you have seen the brothers please call Police urgently."
