SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell does not know why he has been unable to add to his Shrimpers squad.

Ex Macclesfield Town duo Theo Vassell and Emmanuel Osadebe travelled with Blues to Saturday's clash at Blackpool.

But Campbell is unsure why the deals have not been completed.

After shrugging to the original question, Campbell said: “I don’t know. I’m confused and perplexed like you.”
