THE winner of a Gosfield open art exhibition contest has been announced.
The Gosfield Gallery hosted its seventh Winter Open Exhibition throughout January.
Artists were invited, back in December, to submit two pieces to the gallery with visitors to the exhibition being able to vote for their favourite.
The gallery, which is located at the Gosfield Shopping Village on Petersfield Lane, announced the winner on Saturday 25.
Paul Destri won the competition with his piece 'walkies'.
Rounding out the top five, in descending order, were Joanne King in second, Roy Whyard in fourth and Alison McKinney in fifth with Paul Destri's second piece 'Mad March Hare' also picking up the third place spot.

As the winner of the competition, Paul now has the opportunity to host his very own solo art exhibition at the gallery and showcase all of his works.
Directors of the Shopping Village, Glenn and Beata Pisarska-Piesse said: "The Gosfield Gallery Winter Open exhibition 2020 was well supported.
"Once again our visitors cast their votes widely, and we were delighted to see that the winner was Paul Destri for “Walkies”.
"Paul will be displaying his artwork at Gosfield Gallery throughout February, please come along and support his exhibition."
Glenn and Beata will be meeting with Paul at the Gallery tomorrow to set up the show, where the winner will also receive a winners diploma.
