A CASTLE Hedingham vineyard will be hosting an open day tomorrow, perfect for any wine drinkers.

The Tuffon Hall Vineyard, on Graves Hall Road, will open its doors to the public giving visitors the chance to experience everything that goes in to making a bottle of their award winning wine.

Tuffon Hall have only been producing wine since 2014 but the family have been working the land for four and a half generations.

They currently sell to select retailers, bars, pubs and restaurants locally, through their website and at a growing number of venues and shops in London.

Running from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 1, the open day lets people take a self guided tour of the vineyard and teaches visitors all about the wine making process as well as the vineyards plans for the 2020 year.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to try out some of Tuffon Hall's amazing award winning British wines in their historic 16th century threshing barn.

The Cellar Door, the vineyard's bar, will also be open to visitors where you can try out more wine or even Tuffon's unique grape gin.

Also on offer will be a selection of delicious locally sourced smoke platters for visitors to enjoy a light lunch while your there.

If your interested in popping in to pick up a bottle for the evening, The Cellar Door shop will be open as well.

With no need to book, you can just walk up to the gate an buy a ticket.

Tickets cost £10 for an adult and children can enter free of charge.
