A man was rushed to hospital after he collapsed in Braintree town centre.
The ambulance service has confirmed paramedics were called to assist the man who was found unconscious in Manor Street around 9.30am on Monday.
An air ambulance was seen circling over the town centre around the same time before landing at the skate park off Coggeshall Road.
A spokesman confirmed the air ambulance was called to assist the unconscious man, along with a Hazardous Area Response Team and an ambulance.
The man was eventually taken to Broomfield Hospital via land ambulance for further care.
