EAST Thurrock United are expected to be without Amos Nasha and Alex Clark for tomorrow’s Isthmian Premier League clash with Kingstonian.

Both players have been sidelined since the New Year’s Day victory at Bowers & Pitsea.

And boss John Coventry feels they will not return ahead of the weekend.

“Amos had got a knee problem and Alex is struggling with an ankle injury,” said Coventry.

“Alex picked up his injury not long after coming on as a substitute at Bowers & Pitsea on New Year’s Day.

“We have a small squad and that is well-documented now.

“We just have to deal with it in the best way we can.”

Rocks head into the weekend four points adrift of the play-off places, while Kingstonian are 10 points worse off in 13th spot.

The K’s were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the second round stage following a replay defeat to Leamington in midweek.

But Coventry knows Kingstonian will pose a threat.

“I always know it will be a difficult game against Kingstonian,” added Coventry.

“They are a good side with good players.

“They’ve gone on two great cup runs in the FA Cup and FA Trophy this season and they will be in a good position in the league if they win their games in hand.”
