Here are some of our top picks for 2020.

Britain’s Got Talent 2019 finalist, West End star and multi award-winning magician Ben Hart is embarking on his debut solo tour.

His exciting magic show is coming to Braintree Arts Theatre on March 27.

Comedian David Walliams described him as “the living embodiment of magic”.

Tickets for the show are £17 (£15 concessions) and you must be over 12 to attend.

In April, Braintree Arts Theatre is hosting comedian Simon Brodkin.

Fresh from a critically-acclaimed, sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and hailed as one of the Guardian newspaper’s top shows at the Fringe, Simon brings debut stand-up show 100% Simon Brodkin to Braintree.

Tickets are £20 (over -14s only).

Medium Derek Acorah is bringing his 20th Anniversary Tour to Bocking Arts Theatre on April 17 when audiences can discover what makes him one of Britain’s most loved and entertaining mediums.

Tickets are £20.50.

Outspoken politician, Ann Widdecombe is hosting ‘Strictly Ann’ at Braintree Arts Theatre on May 1.

She is embarking on her first national tour as she lifts the lid on life in Westminster in an entertaining, enlightening and controversial way.

She also shares behind-the-scene secrets and gossip from the nation’s favourite shows, including Strictly Come Dancing, Have I Got News For You and Celebrity Big Brother.

Ann will also host a book signing after the show. All tickets are £23.

George Egg: Moveable Feasts is a brand new comedy and cooking coming to to Braintree Arts Theatre.

During an evening of live cooking and comedy George demonstrates unconventional ways to cook and an opportunity to taste the end result.

Tickets are £14 (£12 concessions) and you must be over 14 to attend.

In November the Bohemians pay homage to the world’s most theatrical and dramatic rock band, Queen at Braintree Arts Theatre.

The Best of Queen show features a selection of the most loved and iconic classics from Queen.

The Bohemians are playing on November 20 and 21. Tickets are £24.50.
