GREAT Wakering Rovers will be looking to bounce back from three consecutive defeats when they make the trip to Cambridge City tomorrow.
Steve Butterworth’s Wakering had been challenging for an Isthmian North play-off place during the early stages of the campaign, but defeats to Heybridge Swifts and Aveley - which came either side of an Essex Senior Cup exit at the hands of Concord Rangers - has seen them fall six points adrift of the top five.
As a result of their downturn in form, Wakering are just one point better off than 11th-placed Cambridge.
Cambridge head into the clash following a victory over AFC Sudbury.
