WILTSHIRE Police has renewed its appeal after a 21-year-old was assaulted in Guildhall Square.
At between 6pm and 6.45pm on August 23, the victim was sitting on a bench with his dog opposite Nuggs when he was approached by a man shouting abuse.
The offender then hit the victim on the head several times causing him to fall off the bench.
He then ran off away from Salisbury city centre.
The victim sustained facial injuries, but officers say they were not serious.
A spokesperson for the force said: "CCTV analysis and a range of enquiries have been carried out but we still need the help of the public."
