THIEVES have been spotted on a number of occasions in Hatfield Peverel.

Officers are investigating after a number of reports were made, including one in Rainbow Mead.

A police spokesman said: "It was reported a two men tried break into the address at around 9.10am on 7 September.

"One of them has been described as black, slim and tall and wearng a bandana in his hair while the other is described as white, shorter and stockier.

"It was then reported than someone tried to break into an address in The Street between 8.15am and 8.30am on the same day."
