AN evening of hip-shaking entertainment is coming to an historic setting next weekend in aid of a charity that helps those facing incurable illnesses and their families.

Fit4Life’s Party at the Castle, an enthralling curated show of award-winning singers and toe-tapping DJ playlists, will transform the heritage atmosphere of the glorious Hedingham Castle into both nightclub hedonism and freeing abandon.

As well as offering an all-round good time, the fundraising concert will also be used as a platform to generate vital funds for St Helena Hospice, which will help the organisation continue to provide priceless support to people suffering from life-limiting diseases such as a cancer and their bereaved loved ones.

Performances will come from award-winning swing singer and circuit-regular Joe Fryd and female vintage trio The Rockabellas who specialise in classy and elegant numbers crying out to be played on a vinyl player.

Food and drink will also be available on site in the form of succulent gourmet burgers, traditional Indian street food, Spanish paella, toasty churros and glasses of fizzy Prosecco.

Event organiser Emma Coles said: “

Tickets for Party at the Castle cost £25 and the long-running show will take place between 3-9pm on Saturday August 10.
