An appeal has been launched by Eden District Council after on-going issues with manure.
This week Eden District Council has asked the community for help after manure has been dumped beside Brackenber Allotments, just off Gilwilly Road, Penrith
The authority is urging people to dispose of their manure appropriately.
A council spokesman said: “This has been happening for a significant amount of time now and the allotment holders cannot make use of it because it contains material other than manure, such as litter and string.
“Please submit any relevant information about the perpetrators on 01768 817817 or pollution@eden.gov.uk.”
