AN angling group has hosted a charity match to raise money for a cancer charity.
The Colnes Angling Society held its seventh annual match at Pebmarsh Lake earlier this month to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Since the first match in 2013 the group has raised £2,857 for the charity.
The group thanked organiser Peter Pound for his work over the years and for sourcing and supplying numerous prizes for the raffles which have been run alongside the matches which has helped to raise much of the money.
The group also thanked all those that have contributed or attended over the years.
Mr Pound is pictured presenting Kevin Dewsnip with the winner’s trophy.
