HELPING HAND: Cubs got involved with a litter pick
YOUNG helpers got involved with a major clean-up earlier this week.
Cubs from the 1st Halstead Scout Group took part in a litter pick on Monday evening.
The budding Wombles collected bags of rubbish along the River Walk as part of their termly programme.
Selection assistant Andrea Underwood said: “The rubbish bags were pretty full, and they also finished their evening with a chip shop treat.”
