A TOP UK comedian will be taking to the stage with a host of guests this weekend.

Mike Gunn will be entertaining audiences at Halstead’s Empire Theatre alongside three hilarious special guests on Saturday.

The headline comedian is known for his appearances on TV in shows such as The Comedy Store, Live At Jongleurs and Harry Hill’s TV Burp.

The comedian will be storming through some of the funniest stuff audiences are ever likely to hear, and tackling everything from the Middle-East crisis to why some people should never be allowed to have children, so is guaranteed to upset almost everyone.

Joining Mike on stage are top comics Russell Hicks, Matthew Osborn and Jenny Collier.

Russell has been hailed as one of the most exciting comics to come from America, and one of the six comics to watch by LA’s Stand Up Talk Magazine.

Matthew Osborn has been on the comedy circuit since 2002 and is an audience favourite, supporting comedy favourites Harry Hill and Al Murray on tour.

He is an up and coming comic with an ever growing presence on the UK comedy circuit, making regular appearances on TV and radio.

Jenny Collier moves from Wales to London to start her career in comedy and won the Laughing Horse New Act Competition in 2014.

She has written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, Huffington Post and Glamour Magazine, and has travelled the world, performing in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland and Australia.

The four comedians will be performing at the Empire on Saturday and tickets are still available.
